Perfect heart/lung shot

Post by bunkysdad »

This is the second mouse I have put down in a week with my Ruger Standard Pistol using rat shot. Oh, and my wife is totally freaked out too at the thought that we had TWO mice in the garage. If she only knew the likelihood that there are no telling how many more considering I have seen another, as well as a large Rat. She would ship out if she knew. So I spend my time in the garage reloading, watching out the corner of my eye, and my pistol loaded!

Somebody here bayoneted one once. Who the hell was that?

What have you done to Wilber? :beek:

Got mice? Good luck, I am now entering the 28th year of the great war against the vermin in the sheds, barns, and the old place. I kill five and ten more appear, Poisons, traps, army's of cats, guns knifes and stompy feet, they keep coming . They are not currently in my home only due to my keeping an army of feral cats, and several tame ones on constant patrol right around the place. Traps from sticky to snappy and even electric are in every possible mouse area. I greatly encourage the local snake population, and even relocate snakes from other areas to my place to help eat the mice.

Sounds like JYD has the same problems with vermin/rodents that we have down here with fire ants. Have you tried Plutonium? I'm convinced people would try it here if you could buy it a Walmart. Maybe try feeding them spam? :spam2:

I was invited to have a deer steak dinner with this young man on a trip I made to Georgia. It was an excellent meal as he had just shot the dinner on his own property a couple days prior to my visit. He is a single father with a 3 (?) year old boy. He is currently in Afghanistan serving our country. The boy is with family.

Well, I now am fighting a swarm of carnivorous man eating mosquitos in the garage. Had to come in for a dryer sheet. When I rub it on my arms and legs and put it in my shirt pocket the skeeters quit biting me.

I have heard this before about the sheets, has anyone stopped to wonder what chemicals are in that sheet to cause the bloodsuckers to flee in terror?

I've always heard that mothballs work for repelling mice, snakes, and moths, of course. Now if it only worked on those mo**** f****** fire ants, we'd be all set.

Having a hard time killing those buggers recently. Maybe I can get my neighbor to get me some Cobalt-60 (he's a radiologist) :D

You could cast them in alluminum, sell the results as art, and fund a huge Mosin collection. :P

Sir, if you're still in New York, consider yourself lucky. Fire ants aren't even close yet. They're awful! We don't even have the little black ants anymore, we've got fire ants and piss ants, which hurt even more than fire ants.

I was actually looking into making one of those earlier in the year. A few thousand dollars and you'd be spewing napalm b. :devil2:

....or you would be the human torch when it goes off on your back. They were dangerous even when not on the battlefield. No fire ants here, just large and small black ants, carpenter ants, and regular red ants.

Precisely the reason I didn't get it off the blackboard.
2000+ psi AND fire is just not my idea of a way to go.

ok folks. A dead mouse is NOT what I thought I was going to find in this thread. I never had a problem with rodent eradication until some dude used those damnable sticky pads. Those things are just wrong. I prefer the old neck snappers myself. Not sure I'm ready to shoot mice with my Mosin yet. :?

I feel the same way about sticky traps. I don't like to see even a mouse stuck like that.
