Type 14 Nambu

Post by etprescottazusa91 »

Was putting away some funds to work on my top 5 reasonable acquisitions. Funds were diverted.

Obtained a Nagoya Type 14 Nambu manufactured in October of 1943 pistol is in beautiful shape, obtained from a contact who bought it off a widow, dresser drawer find. Complete with the original holster, cleaning rod and numbered spare firing pin, all numbers match except the magazine. Pistol is at least 90% this one did not see much action.

etprescottazusa91, when I got mine, it didn't even have a line of the magazine follower. Nice catch! As too the poster that saw some Nambu ammo at a gunshow, how much were they asking??? Not cheap I'll bet. I'm in the process of making 100 rounds of brass out of some .357 Sig brass, just to be able to finally shoot mine. Original ammo is far too valuable for me to shoot.
