m96 swedish mauser

Post by curdog »

Picked up a 1920 Carl G at local gun show. Bolt is all matching but not to gun rest of gun matches. Stock is awesome no nicks grain pattern really cool ! METAL and finish 100% bore looks great also indicated by stock disk. Private sale out the door 125.00
I knew it was a good buy whish I could share some pics really a beautiful mauser. My question is what are these going for now adays how much does the mismatched bolt hurt the value?

After looking at House of Karlinas web page im pretty sure it has a mahogany stock on it.I really wish I could post some pictures. If it wasn't such a long shot I would swear it is.I will try to verify it this coming week and I will post and update. After looking at my other swedes 1-38 2-96 1 94 carbine this one really stands out from the rest and has the right color, it sure is pretty!

125 is way cheap, even for a mismatched bolt. I would never pay 450 for a mismatch, but 275 or so would be top end price for mismatch, in my opinion. These things just keep gaining value, though. It has nowhere to go but up. Pics are needed. would love to see it.
