Stripper Clip Info?

Post by Cool Old Guns »

I want to buy some stripper clips so looking on ebay the originals are priced at about $6 a clip for originals. So a few questions.
1. How were the Russian troops issued clips? In ammo cans, cleaning kits or just passed out?
2. If they are in the ammo cans, I have two unopened pictured below. Would they be in the can and if so how many? I have no plans to open them anytime soon.
3. Are they getting hard to get and are they worth the price for the originals over new ones?
