Norinco AK Front sight

I would like to replace my front sight housing with another,but I dont know what the barrel sizes are on the other types.Is there any place that would tell if anything will interchange with the norinco.It doesnt have a brake on it.

I'm sorry, but cannot help you. I have a Chinese import Ak (MC90) and it is too valuable to alter. In this forum, altering can be frowned
upon.

Ok Thanks I really wasnt trying to alter it.Just thought if I could up date it with another it woulnt hurt it.It is a post ban and I didnt know they had any real value.

If it is a Norinco MC90 or often marked MAK90 and in good shape. Say about $500. There is an auction up with 22 minutes to go and the bid is
at $765 firm right now. Any alteration to a Norinco Mak 90 will drop your value down to the $250 range. But, it's your gun, not mine.

Wow I just went and checked it out.I sure didnt know they were going for that much.I will just let it sit for now.

I see that one is at 900 and still not met reserve.Seller says that it is marked 836 meaning it was a polytech.Is this real.
