Welcome to the board. got a new "gun"? What kind of shotgun is it? :)

I think that's a New York thing. Down here in Texas everything that goes boom is a gun. And any soda is a Coke. :P

No, not a New York thing, this is a state of Liberals and everything that goes Boom is a gun to them. This is a gun culture, and military thing. I was taught how to tell a rifle from a shotgun by a WW2 Marine, he was very clear on what was what and what they were called.

Pop is that old guy over there on the porch snoring in his rocker, soda is something rich people in the 40's used to shoot into their drinks to make them bubbly, carbonated soft drinks have always been simply "a cold drink" to me. I remember one old timer who called them all regardless of brand or type , Nehi. Grape Nehi, cola nehi, get me a ginger nehi.... I don't think Nehi was even sold here outside of the 1930's, it was years before I understood what the hell he was talking about.

I'm with Russell. All sodas are Coke.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
