Gem of a Winchester.. 9422

Post by ffeng31 »

Picked this little gem up from a friend of mine today. It will be under the tree for my daughter. From what I have read these are quite sought after.. It is in absolutely flawless condition. Any info you all can provide will be greatly appreciated as I have just begun to research it. Here are a few pics. I'll post more after Christmas.

Let me make a short, open, blanket comment. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. Any gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a descent person is no threat to anyone--- except bad people. -- Charleton Heston

Guns are not good, they are not evil. Save those descriptions for the people holding the firearm. -- Unknown

These are excellent rifles. They are quite pricey these days too. I almost bought one once in 22 mag once. I sure wish I had, but the 22LR is truly a gem in these. So how old is your daughter? These have no recoil, just like our Henry, and are heirloom quality. The gift that will last a lifetime.8-)8-)

Very nice.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

She is 12 . I have had her shooting since 5. She started out with a Cricket .22 and had graduated to a 10/22 . This one will add a new twist. Its different enough that it wont compete with the Ruger. She has a Ruger SR-22 that she is very skilled with as well.
