my 8 year old nephew was with me at the auction and wants his first gun so bad so i bought this little single shot .22 and he helped carry it out to truck after auction he asked if it was for him i said no. i talked to his dad and told him i bought it for him how long till i can give to him he said next year so on his birthday in may hes gona get it i oiled it and tried it out today works great decent shape to decent rifling still there i cleaned up tonight and put in safe can wait to see his face when he gets it.

I like just about anything with Savage or Stevens on it. Like my old bolt action 410. Fun little shooter.

i was showing my dad it and he feels wouldnt be a safe first rifle due to the fact that once loaded and bolt closed and the knob cocked if you open the bolt without decocking or firing it goes off and the bolt will not be closed so could be dangerous will just get him a rossi single shot or similar as first gun so i will be keeping this one
