Darn, never saw this one. Did you buy it?

The Mark I was the original 1940's/50's design. The Mark II was the needed improvements. The Mark III has all the lawyer crap and manufacturing shortcuts (plastic parts) ALWAYS get a Mark II over the others unless it's been abused
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

My first rimfire pistol was a Ruger MkII back in the early 80's and I would shoot it 500 rds at a time. Back then a brick was about 9.95 and I never stocked up. Just buy a brick and pick one of several spots outside of the suburbs and have fun. Then one by one the places to shoot disappeared, and now it's pretty much shooting ranges only. The first MkII was the standard tapered barrel, fixed sights, and was just so darn accurate. Then I bought a Super Single Six with a magnum cylinder included, then a Stainless Super Blackhawk. Then a 6" bull barrel MkII. Then I got a crazy thought and bought one of those 9 3/8" MkII bull barrels and that was when I was robbed. The only thing they didn't get was the magnum cylinder. I like all of the Mark pistols, early or new makes me no difference. Plastic, lawyer whatever, still like em.
