Just picked up this leather sling from a pawn shop. It has no markings. It looks like a Finnish sling but the brass buckle seems odd. The buckle is however just slightly larger than a Finn M39 buckle. Measures 45” long x 1” wide.
Anyone have any ideas of its origins???

I'm not sure it's Finnish. Looks like a standard Russian M91 sling. Especially because it's sewn in and not riveted.

Looks French.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
