Crate + 880 rounds of 7.62 x 54R + opener = $163.86 delivered. Sure beats shooting .308!

Not so long ago I saw 7.62x51mm selling at $500+ a case of 1000 rounds, crazy.

I usually buy bulk ammo at gun shows, and the last box of 300 rounds of .308 cost me about what that crate cost me. I got a bonus ammo box with it, but it's not as cool as my future wooden bookshelf.

The commie wood ammo crates have lots of uses, I especially like the Czech ones , they have the nice metal latches, and a hinged lid, I store all sorts of stuff in them. The regular ones with the nailed on lids are great as tool bins, and for storage of parts.

It's like Christmas at my house today and nothing says Happy Holidays like surplus Russian Ammo!
60 over 75 silvertip, and I'm going to have to sit on it until Thursday.
