I picked this one up this past fall, and it's something you don't see very often, a SCW 1934 Izhevsk Transitional 91/30. It was produced with the 91/30 rear sight and a barleycorn front sight that takes a Panshin style Bayonet. Most of these where upgraded by the Russian's ( globe sight), Finn's ( stacked barleycorn)and even the Spanish ( usually a replacement globe or homemade barleycorn)but this one somehow got overlooked It is a typical Spanish mix master with Izhevsk, Tula and Remington parts. The bore is in great shape and the stock looks to be lightly sanded by the Spanish, and the original button barrel bands have been replaced with 91/30 bands, all in all a typical SCW rifle in a untypical configuration
