Head space

Post by Lawrence44 »

Well, got my gauges from from OKI, and checked out my two Mosins. Probably money well spent, looks like they're good to go! Can't wait to fire off some rounds!

Let me make a short, open, blanket comment. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. Any gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a descent person is no threat to anyone--- except bad people. -- Charleton Heston

Guns are not good, they are not evil. Save those descriptions for the people holding the firearm. -- Unknown

Good deal. It is nice knowing exactly where you stand as far as clearances go and having a gauge too tell you this sure takes the guess work out of it. I love mine. Then again I'm a mechanic and am a tool freak. :D

Got mine the other day. All Mosins passed the test. Checked the firing pins, ok. Disassembled, checked for cracks, imperfections or any problems. Didn't find any. Took two shooting yesterday and had a "blast" :popgun: :ani-pop:

Tha's right. Safety first, last, and everywhere in between. I've seen some stupid things on the firing line that didn't need to happen.
