Yes it will. Here's some more pictures of one of these. It's post number 269 and is one purchased today at AIM by a forum user with pictures of the paperwork from Molot for the specific rifle. http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread. ... pers/page6

I'm still reserving judgment but I'm leaning more and more to them being authentic. I just don't know enough about them and snipers in general to make any judgements. Time will tell. Lots of these will be in the hands of people within the week. That will tell the tail hopefully.

Looking forward to seeing what you get Weldon. The sniper is a slot in my tiny collection I would like to fill one day.
Oh we're gonna shoot it no matter what. That's why I'm getting it. What good is it hanging on the wall? I'm just afraid I might run out of ammo. I might need to pick up some more.
Tuc was just asked this:
"Tuco:
Were these rifles assembled/refurbed for the collectors' market?"
This was his response:

Tuco also said that he tried to by these rifles a year ago when they were sitting in a military storage facility in Bryansk. Considering he personally saw them in Russia, I think they're legit.

Yeah I saw that. He was bidding against InterOrdnance. When I saw Bryansk I thought "Ok they're pulling our legs here. I thought it was a play on Bryan at AIMs name but after a quick google search I found out it's a real place. a real huge place that they store this stuff at.

Yeah, I bet the Russians are getting rid of these to make room for SVDs...
I expect to see these flowing in for a while... & as they do the quality will nose-dive as they burn their way through the inventory right down to the last part. With the demand these are having they will milk this goose for all it's worth.

A reminder... If you want to talk about these this thread is the place to do it. Let's keep the conversation in one place rather than posting all over the forum. Any new threads for discussing the AIM PU will be locked & diverted here. Posting of your newly acquired AIM PU (If you just bought one) not included... Go ahead & post a new thread to present it for us to see.
Thank you

$.50 to a $1 says that they sent 5-10 to the chromer. Just bettin they could not resist. I also read their description and it seems they are still up to their old tricks.

Was pretty much one of the first to order one when available. Got it yesterday.
Rifle is a 1944 Tula with force-matched bolt and mag plate-no line outs.
My first sniper essentially (have a scopeless Samco example). They've never done anything for me, but I needed one to fill the hole. I don't plan on shooting it-I don't even plan on cleaning the cosmo off of this one as its all set for storage.
This fills me with so much more confidence in their originality.
