Just joined the forum after obtaining my very first Russian/Chinese rifles. Have acquired an SKS - factory 26 markings. It appears to be correct, except for the gas port, which has had the sling attachment ground off, and the front sight/bayonet mount, which is missing. My Mosin Nagant 44 has been sporterized, so this is the only mention I will make of it. Actively looking for a front sight/bayonet mount for my SKS, but no joy so far.

Hi I'm Andrew. Long time Mosin sniper owner. Dusted her off a year ago and started shooting the Mosin again. Looking forward to cleaning her up and perhaps doing some service rifle match shooting with it.

Hi , I'm Eddie . I have a bunch of Mosins I collected while Wholesale had them years back . Mostly Finn Civil Guard rifles but I do have a couple of Russians and a non import Chinese carbine. Also have Swedes and some Swiss rifles as well. I'm more of a lurker than a poster.

Hello and thanks for the add. I have a Mosin Sniper I bought many years ago, hope to get help here to validate it, also to learn info on reloading for the Mosin.

Hello folks. Received a 1943 M39 awhile ago. Now have a 1935 M28/30 on the way. They’re multiplying!

Hi all!
My name is Sam and I am the proud owner of two Mosin carbines (m44 and, as of today; an m91/59 that I am thrilled about)! I really am starting to appreciate the rugged nature of the Mosin and look forward to learning and continuing to collect!

Hello. This is Lug52 and I have a M53 that was a gift from a Cornel. It is a bring back from Vietnam. I have all the paper work but it has had some reblueing . Bu shot the barrel is shot. I would like a replacement. I will keep the original but I would love to take the old war horse out and do some shooting and maybe some deer hunting. The hole family it came from so I would like to honor them.

I don't think so. It might be a Finn captured one, or someone may have just put it on. Pictures would help.
