Nothing like a 97 pound trigger pull to tighten your group. Hell, with a dozen people in a Nagant fight, nobody would even get hit........on purpose anyway.

I picked up some from J&G a while back, just to squirrel away.

Just ordered 600 rounds from SGAMMO for $150.00 bucks with shipping, best part is that every five rounds are on a Russian stripper clip!!! So I have an abundance of WWII stripper clips with ammo loaded on the way! Happy Fathers Day to me!!

Darned pistol is only a $99 pistol, but by time I pay dros, Calif taxes, and transfer fee, it's so high I say forget it!

Still, I need to get one!

Take a drive to J&G. It's a historic novelty that you have to own.
For pistol target shooting, nah. A nice 1911a1 is pistol enough for me.

Yes it's the primer, Berdan, just like surplus 7.62x54R.
There are non-corrosive Berdan primers and there was a time when Boxer primers were corrosive. You have to know the information on the particular ammunition to know if it is corrosive or not.
