I'd be careful what you do with it like taking it "hunting". Well above the standard M27 value because of the arsenal that made it.
It's a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 ....... http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinRarity.htm That makes it very collectable.
Congratulations!![]()

Re: My Finnish Mosin M27
Try a m39 for a replacement. Not near as expensive and just as accurate.

I've been chasing a '35 vkt m27 locally for months driving myself nuts. The price the gave you is accurate. Awesome!

I Did take ALOT more and posted them they are on the last page it WAS EXTREMELY OVERCAST today sorry i will try to get some later on a sunny Day i think im gonna try and post it for sale on this Forums im getting some offers but im trying to take Knuckles Advice. Im a true lover of Mosin's now and im considering Selling my other Guns to buy Mosins for my whole family my one weakness is the M1 Garand but the Ammo is so much cheaper for the Mosin So .... You guys have Torn my heart into now, ive Always wanted a mosin and now that i got one It shoots SO WELL im afraid to downgrade to a cheaper one that it might not preform as well or be as accurate as the m27bunkysdad wrote:If you will take some time to get some really nice detailed photos, you could have your rifle displayed in our Forum Showcase. It's our little virtual museum of nice rifles owned by forum members.

Re: My Finnish Mosin M27
M39s are extremely accurate also. I have an m91 finn that is just as close but they all have emaculate barrels. There are great shooting Russians but not as often to find like a finnish rifle. Finns pride themselves with the accuracy of all their rifles. Russians relied on shear numbers and if the rifle shot 1moa it was a happy coincidence, but there are quite a few happy coincidences.

Looks like it is a 1935 Vk.T M27 serial# 2507? If so it is only 9 units away from the one in my collection.

Re: My Finnish Mosin M27
As Desdem said, you won't be disappointed with an M39. They are pretty much the pinnacle of Mosin Nagant refinement. The only reason that your M27 is worth more than an M39 is because yours is much more rare than your average M39. As a collectors piece your M27 has a leg up. If you are looking for a super acurate, well balanced, joy of a rifle to shoot? A M39 is the way to go. Congrats on your M27 by the way!

Re: My Finnish Mosin M27
Ok now I think you're intentionality trying to torture us.
Heck yeah it increases the value and collectability, I can't believe you're still trying to sell it.
