I have have been building my Mosin Nagant collection since the 1980’s.

I have finally acquired an example of every year of manufacture and common variations of 91/30’s in both Tula and Izhevsk Arsenals except...the elusive 1941 Tula.

I really want to complete my collection and I know these rifles are out there in the hands of other collectors. Some collectors are fortunate to have multiple examples.

If anyone has a 1941 Tula they can find there way to part with and help me complete my collection please PM me here.

Thanks

Follow up…

Okay, so I finally found a ‘41 Tula to complete my Mosin Nagant 91/30 collection 1930 to 1946.

Per Long Colt 44’s request I am posting some of my collection. Most have multiple points of interest that may or may not be evident from photo.

Various markings Include :

SA
USSR (Spanish Civil War)
Pulustuslaitos
Instructie
41
Ch or Cn (ex-sniper )
Scope s/n (ex-sniper)
MO double date
MO triple date
XO date
PM-86 depot build
Triangle 1
Both hex and round receivers in transition dates in both arsenals.

I am now working to complete my Ex-Dragoon 91/30’s 1919 through 1929 collection. I have 6 of 18 of these rifles and only need a dozen more…but that is the subject of another post another day.

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
