Dang Fred, that table of weapons would make a terrorist training camp envious. Looks like you had a great time.
I am off work today and the rain hasn't stopped, so I have been inside mumbling and listing crap on ebay to finance my obsession.

Re: Did Some Shooting Today!
Thanks Rob, will do. You know it's a regular thing to see targets on bags of feed corn. That's from a bag of what they call Deer corn but it's fine for any animal that eats corn. I feed the chickens with it so I have a lot of them around here that I've been saving for a long time. There's a picture of Deer on the other side. Guys here buy pallets of the stuff to put out in feed lots for pigs, deer and turkey.Sgt. I'll be intrested to see how that M1 finally tunes in and if you get more questions please ask!

Got a shooting question for you folks. How do you do your cheek weld when shooting these guns? I like my nose up near the bolt of my AR-15 when shooting. I also like my cheek/jaw touching the stock when I shoot the 7.62x54R. But, the Limbsaver worked great for my shoulder, but I have a light bruise on my jaw. No big deal, you can't see it. Am I doing something wrong? Have been shooting cheek on the stock. I could back off and aim, just wondering what the proper way to do it.
Re: Did Some Shooting Today!
I think what ever you are comfortable with and can make good shots. I have never had a bruise on my cheek that i can remember but i have bruised up the shoulder on a regular basis.

Re: Did Some Shooting Today!
I "weld" my cheek to the stock with both the Mosin and the AR. I don't use a limb saver though, so I'm not sure how the extra length would affect placement.
I saw the results of your shooting in your other thread...whatever you're doing, you're doing well

Now try paper plates at 100 yards with that .22
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
