I was thinking more like radiation poisoning, however as in this series the reanimation seems to be a bug of some sort then possibly the radiation can kill it. Something that has not yet been tried on the show. I would rather watch the corpses "die" on a nice video monitor screen deep in some safe bunker than experience it along with them.

How come the random animals like cats, dogs, rats, deer, goats, sheep, cows, horses, etc. don't turn into flesh devouring zombies?

I don't think the animals are affected by the virus or whatever it is. Something else I have been waiting for is the first character to show up that is immune to this virus. I was kind of expecting the general to be the first character immune to the virus but he was killed off.

You guys do realize that this entire show is based off of a series of graphic novels of the same name? The show deviates somewhat from the books, but the basic storyline is the same, if you have read the books then you know what will be going on next, or a close approximation of it anyway.

I would dig a moat around a point a bit away from where I would be held up. I have a solar powered radio with siren I would blare to attract zombies, and have a scarecrow in the middle of the moat. This would attract zombies, who would fall into the moat, draw them away from our residence, and keep them out of our way reducing numbers. Maybe when the moat fills up, take a sling blade to them, or just fill in the moat with dirt. I'd use crocodiles in the moat, but I'm scared of zombie crocs.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the town was in the graphic novels. However, there was a storyline in the graphic novels the show has not addressed yet. And that is cannibalism.

They use bits from the novels that are not necessarily in the same order as they were in the books. The show is deliberately written so not to mimic the books too closely in order to keep you guessing, but they don't stray all that far from the source material were the main storyline is concerned. The books are on youtube, just do a search, graphic novels remember, somebody uploaded them.

I'm thinking Dr Mulletman is just a video game weenie and only has a gamers idea of what happened. I also think terminus is some ultra liberal hippie utopia full of hippie cannibals. Glenn was starting to be a whinny bi..ch, and carl needs to stfu. And mr crazy eyes-who always plays a lunatic, will be a bigger problem than the cannibal hippies

Since they have been wearing the same clothes for a year and won't take a bath they have got to have rotten crotch I tell ya so what kind of freaking cannibal would touch that? That ain't the thing I wonder about the most though. I wonder how they keep getting snuck up on by all the snarling walkers? Do the walkers only snarl when they get close enough to bite?

Like Homer Simpson when he gets within 10 feet of the donut pile, mouth open, and inarticulate sounds coming out along with drool.
