A helmet or a tin foil hat?
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Let's just put it this way: If the Zombies show up at my house, I need shooters; not rifles (or ammo)....

Ive been told by my whole family that if an end of the world scenario goes down they are meeting me at my safe. I definitely need some people to go with me with all the guns I've got ;)tjtM38 wrote:Let's just put it this way: If the Zombies show up at my house, I need shooters; not rifles (or ammo)....

Re: Poll, how many do you own?
I had enjoyed inspecting and cleaning up my first 1938 91/30 from Tula, so much, that I bought two more almost immediately. Great history and potential in those long guns!
Our local weather finally warmed up enough the other day that I managed to give my latest two Russian ladies their first bath and massage in many years. These two 91/30s were made in Izhevsk in 1933. I stripped off their clothes and parts in the garage and sunlight, cleaned them up, and liberally applied appropriate oils to the metal and wood parts, then wiped 'em down and reassembled like any good soviet trooper of that era would have done. Interestingly enough, the sun must have been embarrassed to catch them stripped like that, because a snow squall (in true Russian spirit) roared into the area and forced me to close the garage door to keep the huge blowing flakes off the girls' bare metal. At least the guns are cleaned, oiled, and stored in the safe. Now I still need to clean up their oil-solvent cans, and bayonets. All three arrived with cans, bayonets, ammo pouches, and cleaning kits w/ screwdriver/firing pin tester. I also need to do a headspace check on these last two, especially the one that has a quirky bolt. Good thing I ordered extra bolts from E-Sarco!! I think the arsenal or someone switched bolts because it feels like is doesn't fit right when opening and closing it. To be continued...

I sure wish the government would do the same.

It ain't their database I'm overly concerned with. But, the wife sneaks up and reads, hell, I swear she can read my monitor from across the room.Genetically Swiss wrote:Lee-online wrote:[/img]
Really? You belong to an online firearms forum, you're already in their database. If you don't like the poll, then don't participate.

Sure, I can pick up the phone and ring for the coroner to come make a collection.

On Facebook? Check out the non-sporter preservationist group at: OOOPS. Deleted by Facebook because it's evil to even discuss collectible firearms on social media these days.

That show is back, and they replaced Carl, of course he is dead, but still, it will never be the same.
