Good! Out here, our Department of Child Safety has announced that they will change some of their policies which previously prevented foster parents from having firearms in the home. That had long been an issue that our people had with DCS.
DCS has undergone significant changes in the last few years-due to public scrutiny that started after the dumpster scandal. That started when Department of Children’s Service workers were caught dumping hundreds of files of uninvestigated child abuse reports in a dumpster behind the Department of Economic Security offices a few years ago. DES was the parent agency for the Department of Children’s Services at that time. That Department was abolished by the Governor and the Department of Child Safety was created as a separate state agency.

Intuit (the maker of Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax), refused to process orders of gun-related sales, according to the New York Post.
Add them to Dick's Sporting goods.

Dicks must be feeling the loss of the gun crowd. Every other ad on TV is a Dicks ad for tennis balls or shoes. 5 million + members of the NRA not to mention all the other firearms related clubs must be putting a nice size dent in their bottom line.
