1916 M91

Post by shoto2758 »

Yes i do have older and "better" rifles.I have newer, and "prettier" rifles,But something about an old workhorse like this just screams of being there ,winning and losing wars..saving lifes, and taking lifes.
This is a 1916 Tula Emperor Peter The Great Ordnance Factory Rifle,It has been scrubbed,With A Numbered stock, showing Baltic use.The Floorplate and bolt both have numerous markings, and the stock shows the wear of a rifle that was not a spectator.
Enjoy the pic's and give a little love to the Baltic rifles, they dont always get it.
Thanks
Jack.

Very nice rifle. I really like all the serial numbers it has.

Hungarian bolt parts. Neat. Personally I like the Balkan rifles.

What a nice veteran weapon you have there. Thanks for sharing with us. The stries that weapon could tell would be very interesting if it could speak. That is a keeper for sure.
