84 year old US Sniper!

Post by OLD OUTLAW »

This man is a Veteran Sniper from WWII. A Veteran of Bastogne as well as other battles. A true Sniper never loses it.
This may cause a tear or two. 84 years old! This man is not a Russian. He is a True American Soldier!! May draw a tear, so beware!
God Bless America!
Steve

The video is not showing, but I am pretty sure I know who you are talking about , yes he is one fine American.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

What an honor it must have been for these modern warriors to spend time and shoot with a true hero. We could learn so much from this quickly diminishing group of "old soldiers"

Someone told me yesterday that WWII vets are dying at a rate of 1500/day. Sobering, since my own father was a verteran of that war.

That figure sounds about right. It's a driving factor in arranging as many "Honor Flights" to Washington as fast as we can arrange for one.

The story behind the video:
http://www.shootingusa.com/IMPOSSIBLE_S ... niper.html

Notice in the video it says that he left the Army in 1944. I have read that the reason was that he lost a leg from artillery fire.

That video was pretty nice. I'm glad I didn't get interrupted watching it. Very special.
