1893 Turk test video

Post by Junk Yard Dog »

Test video I made using the 1893 Turk, video has some minor issues, I put my finger over the sound pickup once or twice, and I should have shot it when there was more light. This camera is working better than the other was when it comes to clear pics, and closeups

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Nice Jim, way better quality. I still haven't even tried the movie function on my camera. It was one and well I did make a 1 or 2 second video once but it was when Fred_G was here for a shoot and the memory card was acting up. Nice rifle too. I love Mausers.

I really love those 1893 Turks & that's a nice one. Where did you get the sling for it?

That sling is a reproduction US M1907 sling I got from Sarco back in '96, They are used on every US service rifle 1907 to today, it's used for match shooting these days. This camera is a Sony Bloggie, it's only function is to shoot movies in full 1080p and load them to youtube. The other day with Rons help I got my computer to read it's Mp4 files. I still can't watch them on the computer without the video locking up and only the sound continuing, but they load to youtube fine, and that was the object anyway. I see when I got the markings the camera also picked up a tiny bug moving around, the other camera would never pick that up, it's also auto focusing better than the other one. Now I have to remember to keep my finger off the sound pickup.

I am gonna try it again tonight with hopefully more light, I think the auto focus will lock better with more light on the subject.
