"Collectors Forum" - All Mosin Nagant are discussed here. Also the Russian and "Finnish capture" SVT38 and SVT40. This is an excellent place for new Mosin owners to ask questions. We have some of the best experts here looking forward to your questions. If you post a Mosin sniper rifle here, we may or may not move it to the sniper forum.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

That is something I have never bought yet. I tend to buy smaller quantities because when I get the cash for a crate of ammo I seem to buy a gun with it. I would love to get a crate just like that! Nice motivational picture

That crate of ammo sells up here in Canada for around $360.00. I can get 3 91/30's for the same price. The rifles have really come down in price up here.
But you can get SVT 40's for a lot less there too so a fair trade off. I think they go for like $500 there

Your mission Jim, if you decide to accept it: Load up cases of $160.00 silver tip, take a short trip to Canada, swap the cases of ammo for SVT-40s and bring them back to share with the members of the forums. As always, if you or any member of your team is killed or captured, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

Well, I will do my part too. Someone has to stay at home and man the operations center.
I can't shoot steel core around here and everything that is not steel is twice as much (+ or -). Only when I go to Nevada to visit my Brother, then out the steel comes.

Weldonhunter (?) sent me a link to Canadian gun seller that has SVT 40's for sale for $249.00. 91/30's were around 200, go figure.
Yep that was me. http://shop.moregunssupply.com/Tokarev- ... p_352.html I found the site in a forum doing a google search. They had all kinds of neat stuff we don't have here. Like Sino Soviet SKS's for $74 (Backordered) and a Yugo Mauser M48BO (sanitized) for $479. They had some weird ammo that I've never heard of like Norinco .308 and and Polish Mesko 1400rd crates of 7.62x39 steel cased mil-surp. Oh and $279 for a crate of 7.62x54R WOW that's high. I just looked at the site and there's no way to view the rifles once you navigate away from that page and look at the menu. The ammo is all gone too for some reason. None of it's in the main menu anymore. Weird.
When I found this place I thought I'd hit the jackpot for obscure items, then I looked at where they are. Winnipeg, MB Oh well it was fun to look around.
