Haha. Its not too bad from what I've seen. I can get 500rnds of tula steel case 223 for around $120. I just don't want to buy it until I'm sure the rifle will feed it properly.

A little update. I got a nifty accessory today for my rifle. I'm still thinking about getting a red dot sight for it though. I just got a killer deal on this and couldnt pass up.

Got this burris pepr quick detach scope mount.

I got it from a website for $38. It was labeled as scratch and dent but there isn't a scratch on it :D. The normal price for this mount on amazon is around $100. I'm very happy with the purchase haha. Now I need to pick out a scope. Any recommendations?

Sadly I haven't. I've been getting a little bit of ammo built up. I only have 300rds right now but I pick up about 100 a week or so. Been trying to figure out a time to make it to the range haha. The rear sight has to be zeroed at 25 meters. But the only range around here long enough closes at 5pm. So that makes weekdays pretty much out with work all day. Saturday is possible but I still have to juggle everything else haha. But my birthday is coming up really soon so I might get to go shoot a bunch of my stuff. That would be a blast :D

AR's like to be shot. Is why they have 30 round mags. The Mosins will often wait patiently for years. Unless you are stuffing that rifle with cosmoline, it is time to shoot it! :D

Yeah it does. All I really want to put on it is a light and an optic. I don't like the idea of gobs of stuff hanging off my rifle. I can put the light on with this handguard so all is good. And being polymer they are way lighter than a rail. :)
