Forums Moving?

Are the forums moving......possibly...yes

But the good news is, they will still be at the same URL as now, and they will still look the same, and hopefully we will get some features back (like Tapatalk) after the move.

We have out grown this host and it seems we need to move.

At present we have some restrictions and we have tried to minimize these so they don't impact "members", but at present "guest" are not allowed to see some photos. Also, Search bots (some) are not allowed on and that will eventually impact our standing on the search websites like Google.

So, in order to give us a bit of elbow room, we are looking at moving to a host with a reasonable price.

It is possible we will be off the internet for 1 to 24 hours when this happens. I will let you know before it happens.

I may not contribute that much to this forum as I'm not able to collect loads of these rifles but I do look here most days. Dolk, your efforts are really appreciated. Thanks Mate. :udaman:

Please watch the "Forum Move" global announcement at the top of each forum. It will let you know what is going on and how to keep from suffering from Mosinitis while the forums are being transferred over. I don't want to be blamed for a rash of Mosin buying because the forums were down for an hour and everyone went to Gunbroker!

Thanks for all you do to keep this Forum running Dolk. It is my online home. I am sure there is so much more than what we see to keep it up and running right and I really do appreciate all you do. If it ever came to needing some dough, I d rather give it to you to keep it up than jump on gunbroker and buy something.

You know I know you want to maintain this forum first class but it has to be costing you personal money and you ask for none that I know of so far. Gun Boards gets donations to keep upgrading and running so I can't help but want to help out here if I can and I am sure there are others out here that would help. I admire your independent attitude but man please say the word and we will be ready to help out. Keep up the GREAT work and heck be independent we like it that way but be sure to know we are here and we are willing to help out! Bill
