.22 Family photo

Post by BuckeyeSgt »

Well since I've bought three of these in the last week or so I thought a group photo was in order. The revolver is the wife's camper/lake gun.

Aweosme collection!
Let me make a short, open, blanket comment. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. Any gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a descent person is no threat to anyone--- except bad people. -- Charleton Heston

Guns are not good, they are not evil. Save those descriptions for the people holding the firearm. -- Unknown

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Whoa baby! I must have missed the Ruger 10/22 stainless takedown. That is Rugers latest and greatest. I handled one a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. Built solid and locks together tight as a drum. Must be nice to have a thousand dollar 22 budget!

Russell, the takedown is posted. I think it is still on the 1st page. The wife really likes them and I think I can get a lot more rounds down range with the .22s and get the boy trained as well. Don't see much buying for a little while after this spurt.

I've been walking past that takedown at BassPro holding my hand over my eyes. What a fantastic backpack gun!

That's a great pic. Nice little array.
You should pay Palmetto State a visit and stock up on cheap prices and free shipping. I've been buying some ammo there every week. Bricks of .22's are next.
You see in this world there are two kinds of people my friend, those with loaded guns... and those who dig. You dig.

The 60 is the all around .22, the rarely break, if they do they are cheap to fix, you can find them used cheap and even after 20,000 rounds they still look hardly fired, and they are everywhere.

I bought that as a gift for my step-son. But since he decided on being a turd and not trusting him with a spoon, it is now mine. He is now with his dad in CO.
