Carl, check this page. Shows Romanian M44 and the SKS sling. Stampings are different as well as design.

Looks like your pouch is Romanian to me.

Steve, that's the same looking sling the shop I told you about threw away.
I said I was an addict. I didn't say I had a problem.

I assume you mean that very valuable red leather Romanian M44 sling? With the double dog collar?
If so, there is nothing to do but cry now! :cry1: :cry1: :cry1: :cry1:

Yup, you certainly did. The guys who own the Romanian M44 would give their left nut for one of those original red leather double dog collar ones. Especially a stamped Romanian original. Just as rare I am told as the SKS one you just got from me. Perhaps even more rare!! Tell him if he ever runs across even one more, call you!!

But in the meantime, your matching Romanian "Nadia" has her dress returned to her. No longer is she a naked old lady! :chuckles:

I love the 7.62x39 ammunition collection, I know you put a lot of time, effort, money and enjoyment into it.

Surprised you haven't snatched up one or two of all those good Swede rifles coming out of PA.
I'm looking at two more out there as we speak! My perfect 1922 M96 and that like new Husk M38 came from out there in the last few weeks.
