Re: What is on your gun bucket list ?
This is the most dangerous thread I've ever seen. A Winchester made russian battle rifle lever action?!? That's like a beautiful girl who also happens to own a liquor store, just too much good in one place.

I have seen a M1895. It was sportered though. Made me sad

There is one hanging from the ceiling at my local gun shop. Don't even ask, it's been tried. It isn't for sale.

That one could definitely be put at the top of everyone's bucket list.

Re: What is on your gun bucket list ?
I forgot the real Sharps plus many others, makes me happy to see others as whacked as I am.
One thing this thread has shown us...... JYD is NOT a cheap date.
His list blew the doors off most if not all combined.

I used to have a Marx Toys M16. That and a 1911. Got a pretty penny for them, too, when I sold my toy collection from when I was a kid about ten years ago. Ahh the memories... back when we could play with guns and still grow into functioning adults.bunkysdad wrote:M1895- yes in 7.62 Russian

When you have been in the game for a long time you eventually acquire so much that you become hard to shop for or impress, there is little I have not seen. I am in no hurry to acquire anything on that list for then I will be done and nothing will be left to anticipate but the approach of the great beyond.JoeR wrote:I forgot the real Sharps plus many others, makes me happy to see others as whacked as I am.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

With the East German Discotech music up my wife thought I was watching porn. I said, "Yeah, kinda..."

Is that what that music was
Nice 1895 Winchester, it's got the look of a rifle that's been living in interesting times

Re: What is on your gun bucket list ?
I am just eyeballing two fire arms currently.
1. M1A / M14
2. GI spec M1911
I have my Leatherneck .22, Tula M91/30 and the UNMENTIONABLE SNIPER and what may be a most interesting vintage sportered M1917. Most of the other guns I have picked up have been getting divided among my boys, nieces and nephews.
If I get the top two wrapped up, my focus is going to go far more toward shooting endevoures with them.

This is an impossible list for me to make, just impossible.
