This thread seems like an appropriate place for this collage I made a few months ago when I was bored.

I listed this one before, maybe it's a one of a kind rear sight? So far no one has seen one....... might be my rarist. 1901 Tula

This ones pretty tough as well, with it's adjustable rear sight.

This one might not be very rare but according to some number collectors, it seems to be the highest recorded serial number for an early/undated 28/30.

And then there's my M27's with unit disk, pretty tough finds!

My 3 rarest would have to be...

#1. 1938 Tikka M27
Image

#2. 1927 dated M28 thats outside the accepted serial for a 1927 dated rifle in a ski trooper stock that may be original to the rifle.
Image

#3. Finn Captured 1934 Izhevsk 91/30 with stepped blade front sight and button bands.

I have two Finns which I am not sure which is more rare or un uncommon

1. 1944 Tikka hex 91/30. I understand that the Finns only produced the Mosin Nagant 91/30 for two years (1943-1944) at Tikka. Production in 1944 was only about 9000 rifles.
2. 1937 BLUE BOLT two piece stock 91/30

Some truly rare and impressive rifles in this thread. I don't know that I have anything rare, but here are three of my nicer Mosin's. I could flip flop the last one with a couple other rifles.

Well, it's my only (but definitely not my last :chuckles: ) Mosin nagant. A Finn M39 late date(1970)/no maker with a 1905 tang date.

Looking at the other M39s posted here, my stock looks very dark. Anyone know what wood was used for them?

This one probably isn't rare, but I love the stamping:
