Looks like a real nice SKS for sure celt :vcool: :vcool: You will love it.
JGC: You need to take down your rifle and have a look at the bolt and the firing pin. Alot of times there is rust and other crap in the pin channel that obstructs it and stops it from going the full distance. The bolt is not too hard to take apart and there are videos to help. You should not oil the firing pin on these ass it attracts dirt and junk and can affect how the pin works. I have seen some that were full of crap and rust. Also you can send off your bolt to a guy and have it worked on and have a new firing pin with a spring installed. murrysguns.com or something like that. I have one of his pins and springs in mine and i recomend them. :D

the major parts if not scrubbed may be the original serial number The receiver may have been scrubbed to get rid of the original factory marks Why I cannot say. especially where they bothered to put 56 type in front of the new numbers. I have even seen a receiver that was milled away to cover the original factory marks then renumbered. The bolt carrier looks like its been sanded to me only because of the edges but it may not have been. Photos do not always show all the detail. Nice gun at any rate and thanks again for sharing all this info

I forgot to mention, when I took it apart, it was packed with cosmoline.when I bought my 9130, someone had cleaned it long ago.I felt that I had missed out a bit reading how everyone spent hours cleaning up their new rifles.now I feel better.a little slippery, but :D better.

You are going to enjoy shooting it. Ammo is relatively cheap yet. You most likely will need to have a sight adjustment tool to adjust the windage at the front sight block. Most of the cleaning kits have in the tube a flat forked tool to adjust the sight pin up and down for elevation. That one should be a good one!

Agreed. I have tried 2 different rails on two different SKS rifles and after the first shot, the thing goes out of square. The same with a AK cover with a rail on it. There is no way to keep them from moving after the first shot is fired. I tossed all of them.

Me to. Last trip to the range showed me just how accurate these are.
