friend of mine brought this by today and wants to see it to me.riflr looks good and the scope is original post war it looks like to me. the bolt looks odd and the mount screws. was it a 50'ssniper rifle or a put together deaL aztect import mark.i was with him when he bought it around 10 years ago at a local show.he has never shot it.he payed around $600 for it then,what would it really be worth.

The bolt is a dead give away. You know how it goes. It one thing is wrong it's all wrong. Looks like it was an Ex- rebuild.

i knew the bolt looked bad and that it probaly was a rebuild but did not know if it was a factory rebuild or a put together deal .back when he bought it you never saw one and this was the first time i saw it in years.what do you think it would be worth now about the sam as the repo imports .

Base is after market (not real) and the mount is after market (not real).

Looks like a "re-sniper". Take an ex-sniper and drill it out and put a aftermarket base and mount and maybe a real scope and that is what you get.

Aztec only sold M91/30's (and some ex-snipers). If it has their import mark on it, it's not real.

thanks i would like to have the scope and rifle but would not want to pay much for it,if he let it go cheap i might take it to play with .i have a sks that i was thinking about putting a pu scope and mount on .rifle is a mm beater norinco .

$600, ouch, if I was him I would be looking for the seller who told me it was real, and wearing my ass kicking boots.

was told on the other forum that this is a rare hungarian scope and worth around $500 . i have acouple of emails wanting to buy it.will have to see what my friend wants for the rifle.
