Looking for a spare trigger group
Anyone know where I can get a spare trigger group. New or used, doesn't matter as long as it works. Trying to build up some spare parts in case something breaks in the future, while you can still get parts.

Hi billybob, I don't have anything, but they seem to be available on Ebay with no problem and also at Numerich Arms: gunpartscorp.com
I assumed you were talking about trigger group for the Mosin Nagant?

They claim they are newly manufactured, compete and ready to be fitted, not built of used parts.

Have one as a spare right now. Bought it a few months back. Use when I am greasing a sticky group. Not all if any milled, but are damn nice for their price. Do not think you can beat one of these if it works as well as mine does. About to order another! Best back up for me if one original fails. Gives me time to have original sent in and over hauled.Greasemonkey wrote:They claim they are newly manufactured, compete and ready to be fitted, not built of used parts.

Re: Looking for a spare trigger group
Steve, I've thought of getting one, just in case, but like everything else, one day, soon.
It's the only spare SKS part I don't have.
How is the trigger compared to the stock one, better, comparable? How is the fit, drop in or some fitting required? Just curiosity questions.

Re: Looking for a spare trigger group
I have used in a Romanian, Chinese, Russian, and Yugo M59. I use it as I pull groups and work Moly-Grease into the assemblies with cotton swab and old tooth brush. This new one seemed rather dry of lubricant on the first rifle. So, I lubed it up with Moly real good. Equal at first, better after greased. One of my better groups now. It is a direct drop in with all of my SKS. No fitting at all for me. Could never tell any difference at all.Greasemonkey wrote:Steve, I've thought of getting one, just in case, but like everything else, one day, soon. It's the only spare SKS part I don't have.

One of the best investments I have made for a trigger group. No more ebay or GB on these groups for me!
