SOG M44's?
Re: SOG M44's?
Take a bullet and stick it in the end of the barrel. If it goes down pat the bullet and neck of the case it is counterbored. You may be able to look and see if it is. If the rifling goes all the way to the end of the muzzle then it is not counterbored.

Just take a good ole' #2 pencil and put it in eraser end first. If it wont go it's not counterboard. If it goes in, it's counterboard and you can tell how much.

Thanks Bostonmike that is what they look like . I'm headed to the range Saturday to find out for sure. Taking two T53,s ,one M44 and one HEX 1934 M91-30 MN, which shoots like new and is good to use to compares the others. Got some sand bags and plenty different ammo. Targets too! Almost forgot them last time. JGC
