You also have to keep in mind what the deal includes. AIM has for the most part a full accessory package including bayonet except the oil can and the J&G Mosin Nagants only have the bayonet and nothing else. Also keep in mind that the shipping is different from one person to the next depending on where you are. AIM is in Ohio and I believe J&G is now based out of Arizona. I have 4 of these in the cart right now at AIM and it's $37 to ship them to me. SOG and Century as far as I know only sell firearms to C&R 03 holders which precludes sales to a vast majority of the public. Shippings costs are rising in response to fuel costs and as far as Classic goes...well they'll tell you how much shipping is when they pack your order because you and I know it's just to hard to have a set price on items. Oh wait all of the other vendors know exactly what the shipping costs are before you click the buy button. I guess they spent so much money on the developement of their website and maintainence they just can afford to figure out how to quote shipping estimates without using a bathroom scale in the back room as they pack your stuff up. I've said this before and I'll say it again. No place will ever get me to click the buy button unless they quote me the full purchase price including shipping. Period.Siam wrote:We need to watch the shipping prices also. Just looked up a couple of places. I have a C&R, and live in Washington State.
AIM 1-$27.99 2-$39.41 Last year shipping was approx. $20 & $30 respectively.
J&G 1-$16.05 2-$20.43
Seems the base prices of the rifles at both places cost the same.
SOG 1-$24.25 Couldn't pull shipping costs off web site but I just bought 1 from them this month.
Century $12.95 all orders under $500. Can mix ammo and rifles in same order. But their rifle prices are much higher.
Classic Apparently they add shipping after order is packed for shipment. Why ????????
Need to check the total price after shipping is added.

You are right about the accessories included. I guess you can say I pay $11 for the sling, tool kit, and oil bottle when I buy from AIM, not a bad deal. But if you don't want those items I would say go with the lower shipping cost and put the $11 towards another rifle or some ammo. By the way, I have purchased 6 rifles from AIM and none from J&G. As for the shipping costs, you have to base everything on your distance from the seller but that adds to the bottom line total.

Re: AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
Well I just ordered 4 more. Two more Laminates and two more Hexes. I asked Bryan to see if he can find me 2 different years on the hexes then the 2 I already have. I have a 32 Tula and a 34 Izhevsk. I also asked if he found a few in Tula flavor I wouldn't complain. We'll see what happens. I was on the phone with Widener's about the 24/47 and M48 Mausers but they had me on perpetual hold until they were closed. I'm also going to get one of the Yugo M59/66 SKS. I called Samco about the ones they have but got a woman that was a bit hard to understand and told me I have to have my FFL send a copy over before I can order. They have a bent bolt 24/47 that I liked but I'm not sure I trust the grading they state these are. I was calling Widener's to see if they need my FFL to send their info. over first too. I was going to get a 24/47 from Liberty Tree for $200 but he's raised the price to $225 now and they don't come with anything and are even missing the cleaning rod. The ones Widener's has comes with a bayonet, scabbard, frog, cleaning rod, cleaning kit, oil can as well as ammo pounches for $269. I like the M48 because of the bent bolt. Man I wish there was some decent gun shops around here. Oh well this will round out the collection pretty well.

Re: AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
You forgot the Ammo pouches, lol. That's another $1. I think that's about what AIM is selling them for by themself. At least they were. Something like 50 cents if you 10 or more. Man I was going to order a bunch of them on this order just because they're cheap and forgot. The shipping is something most people tend to overlook when ordering. I just ordered 4 more of these and the shipping was $30 when it was finished. They quoted me $37 but once I hit the buy button it went to $30. I'm in Louisiana but you're in Washington State so anything you get from this side of the country is going to cost as far as shipping goes. You are right about the accessories included. Yep, most the dealers seem to be located east of the Mississippi River.WeldonHunter wrote:You forgot the Ammo pouches, lol. That's another $1.
