That's one more than I have! But we're tied in the Polish category.

Of course, good show Jumperwire!

Thanks Drago. I believe this rifle is how Martin and I met. He had a post on another forum.. He told all about it. I had one, but was really, unsure of what I had. I just knew it was kinda special :)

I would venture to say Polish snipers in any condition are pretty rare.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Hey Jump. I have been thinking about this post and I think I can help you out on the ex-sniper situation. I have 2 ex's and you have 2 snipers. If you will trade me that ole '43 I'll trade you one of my ex-snipers and we will both be happy. PM me at your convenience.

Man LC, you are just awesome. Not everybody would take an old rifle that you can't even see the crest and offer him one w/o that funny looking, looking glass in on it :D

It's a small club, overall. IIRC, there are around 20-25 others that I have located in searches. It's a great collectible and conversation piece, and a really good way to make friends... if your gun is anything like mine, it has elicited offers from friends and relatives that I never even knew I had! :D
