My wife is an insulin dependent diabetic. We were very pleased when the the maximum prices were established as it cut the cost of the medicine that she needs, every day, to stay alive. We picked up a script yesterday and the price had increased dramatically. I loved the explanation: They are now packaging the insulin that she uses in quantities that will last for 33 days (with the most common dosage. So, they double the co-pay because it is over a month's supply. The entire industry is run by crooked, greedy SOBs that own the lawmakers and run rampant over the people. We have, by far, the most expensive medical care in the world, but we are way down the list in the quality of care and life expectancy. Greed is what will bring this country to its knees. One day, we will wake up and say, "I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore!" If we started decorating our lamp-posts with CEOs, they would soon get the message. Yea, I am pissed...
