Maybe someone can enlight me about his history. I think its a depot refurbished one? The lenght say its 91/30. There is a second screw in back wich i not seen before - but i know less about Mosins and collect primar german things. The rifle is untouched and full of old grease like it was sold at the beginn of 1970s.
Some stuff is mis-matching(?) or renumbered, other have no number. I hope there enough pics
Thanks

It does have the classic look of a post WW2 Soviet refurbished rifle. In the decades after the war the Soviets refurbished their Great Patriotic War rifles as well as captured German weapons and stashed them away to arm the people in the event of war with the west as well as supplying them to anti western forces around the world during the Cold War. After the wall came down these weapons came up for sale, Ukraine had a huge stash of them and spend the better part of 20 years selling them off. I remember seeing these refurbs pop up sometime in the mid 90's and was still seeing them in good numbers up to at least 2010. The troubles with Russia in the early 2010's seem to have put a stop to the flow.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
