Howdy all,
I have undertaken the goal of compiling Finnish serials for the sake of rarity determination, historical serialization, and attrition rates.
I have created a Microsoft Forms survey which is totally anonymous and takes approximately 4 seconds to submit per rifle. It can be found here:
https://forms.office.com/r/7gZWqGuNkh
I'm up to 850 responses so far thanks to a few other forums. I figured I would include it here as well if allowed.
I also have a live summary with data analytics available for anyone to access at any time available here:
https://forms.office.com/Pages/Analysis ... UwSU03Ny4u
If you would like to add your serials, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, if you have a large list of serials and dont feel like inputting them, feel free to send them my way and I'll add them for you!
Thanks!
Logan

Re: Finnish Mosin Serial Repository
Also, I am aware that folks previously have maintained lists of a similar nature. However, those lists seem to have stagnated a better part of a decade ago or more and did not have the fluid data access as the MS forms. It is my hope to use this data along with other information to publish an e-book to preserve the vast knowledge of finnish mosins strewn about several forums
Re: Finnish Mosin Serial Repository
I'll add my two Finned rifles tomorrow. A 1927 Tikkakoski stepped barrel M91 and a M91/24 Lotta rifle.

Re: Finnish Mosin Serial Repository
Are you including fin marked soviet rifles as well?

Re: Finnish Mosin Serial Repository
Not at this time. Given the diversity of Finn mosins as is, I'm thinking that would be best kept to a separate MS Forms. Though if there are enough folks desiring one for any other type of collection, happy to put one together.
I have a business account for the Forms, so it has a maximum response count of 50,000. Wouldnt be too hard to include some sort of Cyrillic-English transliteration for the Russian rifles
