Private Monroe Suggs, from Anniston, Alabama, serving with the 167th Alabama Regiment. Killed at the battle of Croix Rouge Farm, in France on 26 July 1918. Monroe was buried in the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery in France. His death was a great loss to my Grandmother as her only sibling. Not having a grave to visit made it even harder; he left on that train, never to be seen again.
Rest in Peace(grand) Uncle Monroe.

Re: Memorial Day Rememberence
.....The price he and the others paid with their lives, is a debt we can never repay, but must always remember, so it and they are never forgotten!
