OT: Happy Thanksgiving......

Post by ffuries »

Mary and I would like to wish everyone here a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

As always remember there are empty seats at tables across the county. Whether it's because they are military members who are deployed away from home and are standing watch over us, or made the ultimate sacrifice, or are first responders on duty, or loved ones that have passed on in the circle of life. We are affected by this in one way or another, and while we give thanks we also remember those who are aren't with us today. Remember to check in on loved ones, elderly neighbors, etc, who are alone on this day.

Everyone have a Safe, Enjoyable, and Happy Thanksgiving, and see all of yall after Turkey Day.

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The leftovers are now officially gone, now I can start to think about the next holiday. :Drool1:
