Another close encounter with tropical weather

Post by SA1911a1 »

I am at the Western edge of the current projected path of Nicole. Not sweating it too much, by the time it gets here it will be tropical storm status with winds under 50 mph. Dodging the bullet again. I still have the gasoline stored from the last one. I think that after this passes it will go into the truck.

Here it's just getting colder, but I am told we may have rain on Friday between 1pm and 1:30 pm
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Just a steady rain with occasional gusts here. Rain started around 1000 or and I just checked the weather radar, still showing us getting rain at 2100. So just drowning out the idiot box as CINC Household watches another LMN movie, while I look for gun parts etc on the internet.

We have had enough rain to settle the dust, but it has not gotten as close to us as it will. I would be surprised if we had a 25 mph gust so far.

Right now our winds are out of the NNW at 21 MPH, with gusts up to 33 MPH. Couldn't tell you what they were earlier.

Wind and rain, look at the bright side, you didn't get any snow.

None yet, but it has turned colder, down to the 20's at night.

We could use some more rain.

We had a bit last week but, if we don't get any more, we will be in big trouble.
