9mm velocity?
Re: 9mm velocity?
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C. S. Lewis

Well, in 9mm I'd just about expect that.
Question is also, is it more accurate?

Re: 9mm velocity?
I never cared for pistol cartridges in a rifle anyway. If I am going to pack the extra weight of a long arm I want the punch and accuracy of a real rifle cartridge to go with it. A few hundred feet per second or less between the rifle and pistol isn't much to justify the rifle unless there is a substantial improvement in accuracy. Most improvements in accuracy between rifle and handgun tend to be based on the shooters increased skill level with the rifle over the handgun. I know I shoot better with my rifle than I ever did with a handgun.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

It's the increased sight plain you have, longer barrel pistols are more accurate than snubs. I'm having trouble at 65 seeing pistol sights and the target at the same time clearly. I can still bust eggs with my M1A though.
