My shooter Luger

Post by Darryl »

Luger P08
Germany
9mm x 19 9 mm Luger 9mm Parabellum

All matches except the top Link.
So, not perfect but it has seen a lot of miles on it!

And, I only paid about $400? for it back then.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I walked in to a local gun shop here. It was in their "used firearms" area. He just bought it from some lady! I offered him (I think) $400 and he said "yes". I wonder what he paid for it. Probably next to nothing.

No import marks ? 400 was a good deal if "back then" was in the last 20 years.

This pistol must have come in before the requirements for import marking.
Probably after WWII.

Bought it maybe 10 years (or less).

Darryl, how does the piece shoot? Is it reliable through a wide range of ammo? I believe that the cheapest one that I have ever seen was a mix-master at $1,100.00.

I've only shot it with two different ammos. One was a cheap generic brand, and the other was Remington.

Both did great. No cycling problems.
The pistol is a pleasure to fire. Just fits and fires like it is part of your hand.
