Post by Hylander »

Wasn't sure where to ask this.
Picked up a Pu scope and mount.
Not sure what size drill and tap I need.

This is not the bubba resniper forum.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

If you are just looking to ruin a perfectly good M91/30 Standard rifle with a fake setup, then why would it matter what size the tap is anyway?
Look at 1/2-13 ..... :chuckles:

Self drilling screws or just fire up the old Lincoln and burn a rod. A fellow could use epoxy, but it has to be the good stuff.

It is called how to spend a dozen hours and several hundred dollars to turn a $300.00 rifle into a $100.00 rifle.
