Hello in fooking for help in identification of some proofmarks on a Russian 91/30 made Isvesk 1943. I already identified some marks but not all. What's such (c) on receiver ? And whats such C or 0 between year and serial? Why a double O O on left dlside and another (O) circled on right side? What's small (m) circled on barrel shank and also receiver? Another unknown marks on right of sovietic logo. Thank you.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. I have already searched everywhere more info on it, on every site and forum, some marks are unlisted everywhere ans unknow. Also the structure of receiver seem look line a sniper rifle with round high wall receiver. No holes inside the receiver, its not a reconverted sniper rifle.

Yes im in Italy, i omissed 2 group of marks (because already identified), one on the left its proof of the (modern) german bench fire test , the second on the right (cat 2330) its the italian (modern) fire test proofmarks. My question was only about original russian proof on it. A double O O on left side under the stock. The large C on top between serial and year, the small (c) circled) on receiver, 2 small (m) and an unknow marks on right side of sovietic logo (unknow). Some strange tombstone marks at right side near the other double (O) russian proof.

But concentric circles does not substitute the double 00? why here there are both of them?
