First reloads

Post by fchaus »

So I'm new to reloading and have completed my first 30 rounds of pistol ammo (10 rounds each of low mid and higher powder loads). So my question is what range is best to test them? 10 yards? 15 yards?

test them at the range you would normally shoot factory ammo. If you routinely shoot from a bench at 25 yards then you need to know how your reloads will perform at that range, otherwise the information is of no use.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
