One more 22

Post by Cliff »

We went to the Wanamacher show yesterday. I sold one and the wife almost got me loaded but I escaped long enough to
buy one. It's a Ruger MKI target with the long tapered heavy barrel. I don't think this one has been fired since it left the factory.

Nice.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I have one of those owned since 1981. I have put thousands of rounds through it and it just keeps going. Excellent pistol.

I've got one just like it, except mine has zero bluing left. It's probably had half a million rounds thru it and still shoots damn good.

I have rounded up one of each production model produced....Bill Ruger hit a home run with this weapon.....All of mine shoot well and are a delight to take to the range.....used a mark III for my qualifying for the Texas state carry license....
